It’s been a decade since I studied abroad and I’m feeling nostalgic. So, I put together this Ireland photo tour of Ireland to feed my nostalgia but also to serve as inspiration for people planning their trip to Ireland.
In January 2014, I started my study abroad at the University of Limerick in Ireland. Over the next four months, I explore the entire country of Ireland. I saw the dramatic Cliffs of Moher and some lesser visited cliffs near Kilkee. I hopped on a ferry to tour the Aran Islands, drove the Ring of Kerry, explored Dingle Peninsula, and kissed the Blarney Stone. My family visited me in Dublin and together we ventured up to Belfast and down to Galway. In short, I hit almost all of the tourist hot spots during my time in Ireland.
At the time, I kept a travel blog, but it’s long since been deleted. Since so much time has passed since I’ve been to Ireland, it doesn’t seem right to do in depth posts about the places I’ve been. The logistics have changed in the decade since I’ve been there.
So instead of in depth information, it’s an Ireland photo tour. Let it serve as inspiration for your trip and a trip down memory lane for me.
I hope you enjoyed this Ireland photo tour and that it gave you some inspiration for your own trip to Ireland.
